Wuppertal main station
📍 Meeting points
Wuppertal's main station in Elberfeld with ICE, IC, regional and S-Bahn services; the Schwebebahn station and bus station are right by it on Döppersberg. A two-storey shopping arcade leads into the pedestrian zone. The NachtExpress buses leave from here at night, so it's a good meeting point.
Von-der-Heydt-Platz
📍 Meeting points
Square roughly halfway along Herzogstraße, Elberfeld's shopping street and pedestrian zone. Café & Bar Celona and Hans im Glück are just a few steps away, and during the Elberfelder Cocktail Cityfest the open-air party “La Bella Notte” takes place here. Easy for everyone to find.
Laurentiusplatz
📍 Meeting points
Square in front of the Catholic church of St. Laurentius on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, right by the Luisenviertel. There are several bars and restaurants around the square, a kiosk and café in historic pavilions, and it hosts the weekly market, street festivals and the Christmas market. A good starting point.
Utopiastadt Mirker Bahnhof
📍 Meeting points
Culture and community project in the former Mirke station, where the Nordbahntrasse meets the Mirke neighbourhood. There are regular concerts, readings and markets, and from April to September the bar and restaurant are open daily. A good meeting point before or after a bike ride on the Trasse.
Geschwister-Scholl-Platz
📍 Meeting points
Square in the centre of Barmen, home to Live Club Barmen. The Wuppertaler Brauhaus on Kleine Flurstraße is only about 200 m away. That makes the square a good meeting point before a gig or an evening at the Brauhaus, including for groups arriving by train.

Questions
Wuppertal stag do and hen party FAQ
Where can large groups book in Wuppertal?
The Wuppertaler Brauhaus in Barmen has the Brauzimmer for 45 and the Brausaal for 180 people, BARO on Neumarkt has private rooms for parties, and Pelzhaus hires out its own areas on two levels. You can charter the Kaiserwagen for up to 61 people.
What's banned on a stag do or hen party in Wuppertal?
For a bachelor or bachelorette party in Wuppertal, mind the street bylaws: they ban bawling, harassing people, leaving bottles lying around and peeing in public, and fines can go up to €1,000; alcohol is off-limits in playgrounds. LOCH has a code of conduct, and at Domhan you can only pay cash.
How do you get back at night?
On Friday and Saturday nights and the nights before public holidays, the NachtExpress buses run hourly from Wuppertal main station, connecting with the NE2 to NE7. There's no NachtExpress during the week, so call the Taxi-Zentrale on 0202 275454.
What can you do in Wuppertal when it rains?
Escape rooms at Mirker Bahnhof and in Unterbarmen, laser tag at Funfabrik, bowling and blacklight mini golf at the Alte Papierfabrik, or the 360-degree show at the Visiodrom; wrap up warm there, as the hall is unheated.
How early should you book?
Kaiserwagen rides often sell out fast, and dates for the following year come out from November. At Café du Congo, book at least 3 days ahead; Escape Center Bergisch Land only takes bookings online with payment up front, which you can change free of charge up to 48 hours before.
